Srividya G S is a post-graduate in Fine Arts and a Bangalore University topper and has been painting from the age of five. Although she studied commercial art, she’s always pursued her first love — painting. Nature and landscapes have always fascinated her and she’s been capturing them in the medium of water colours. The reason she chose watercolours is because the medium is quick and doesn't offer a second chance. And that precisely is the challenge she relishes. "What you need to achieve, you should before the water dries off the paper," she says. Her style has evolved from realistic to semi-abstract over the years. Her paintings grab your attention from a distance with their calm, soothing effect.
