Naachiyar’s, originally a tiny Non Veg restaurant on Haudin Road, which provides purely Chettinad food. Naachiyar’s started by S.D. Uday Kumar to cater to the corporate office in Ulsoor and now run by Senthil. The restaurant has re-fubished and now has a first floor overlooking the lake. The main aim is to provide good home cooked Tamilnadu food. Naachiyar’s serves spicy & tasty food.

Recommendation
This is genuine and authentic Chettinad food. The old restaurant was very small with amazing ambience and there was a danger this may have been lost with the new first floor, but it still has a certain charm. Lunchtime is always busy with local corporate guys and you may even have to wait for a table, which is very unusual these days. Service and prices are excellent but don’t come if you don’t like eating off banana leaves…. I told you it was authentic!
