An all day dining space, Global Tree Café at F&B sits on a quiet nook of St. Mark’s Road. Opened in 2007, it’s a yearly feature in Food Lovers Guide. The cuisine from three specialised kitchens includes Pan Asian, Indian and European. There are great deals for a hearty continental breakfast (Rs 180 for a whole meal) and Lunch @360/- (all you can eat). There are also plenty of activities from book readings, art exhibitions to other cultural performances.

Recommendation
This restaurant is worth coming to just for it’s architecture, it has great ‘space’, very contemporary with great style. Lunch is excellent and great value and they even have the occasional cooking demonstration. There is a dedicated ‘art wall’ where Bangalore based artists and ‘out of towners’ can show their work, and they will even allow artists to hold their debut exhibitions here, there’s always something new to see. For those with children, a play area has been set up, adjacent but still visible from the main dining area, so everyone can have a good time over lunch or dinner and you can even give the nannie the evening off!

The Rack of Lamb has been recommended to me several times but as I’m a veggie I stick to the vegetables, I go for something different each time for two reasons, the menu changes every two weeks and the choice is too good to stick to the same thing.
